About CI-REFCO

I have been in the commercial and industrial refrigeration market for over 34 years. When I started out at 19, I was part of a team that manufactured cases. I was soon able to work my way up into a construction team that built refrigeration systems for retail establishments. After a few years of proving myself, I began working in the industrial construction field.

It was a natural transition to move into the service side of the business and I've never looked back. My construction and manufacturing background gave me the foundational knowledge for success in the service arena. With the help of my team, we have been able to make large strides for our customers. We have been able to minimize down time, help lower costs of operation and make our customer's facility operate more efficiently.

It has also given me the training to help the next generation of technician. That is a part of my career that I'm the proudest of. It was only a matter of time until all of my experiences led me to building something for my family. With the help of my wife Gina and my friend James, CI REFCO was born.

CI REFCO is a Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Company. We strive to put our customers first because without them CI REFCO could not exist. Our technicians are next because they are the driving force to exceed our customer's needs. CI REFCO will continue to thrive if we never lose focus on those two ideals.

I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish with CI REFCO. I have been a business owner for 16 years. To be successful, you must keep your focus on satisfying your customer's needs.

Kevin and I have often talked about opening a commercial refrigeration company but there was always something that kept us on the fence. When James started working with Kevin again, those other pieces seemed to fall into place. He shares the same focus of customer first with our technicians as a close second.

If the saying "behind every great man there is a great woman" is true, I am lucky enough to be behind two (or they are behind me 😊).

CI REFCO was born from an innocent conversation. I joined a team that would lead me back into the world of industrial refrigeration, an area of this industry that I did not realize I had missed.

During a particularly trying project, I half-jokingly said to Kevin "What are you going to do when this doesn't work out?" This is the response that made CI REFCO possible! "Gina and I have been talking about starting our own business. Maybe I'll do that." Out of that one innocent response was born the idea.

Over the next several months, I found that we all shared the same philosophy on business as well as our customers. It became more apparent as time went on that opening a business that was focused on customers first was a possibility and eventually an inevitability. Today it is now an actuality!
